Amending the financing and spending plans in the Fire Department in the amount of $46,525.50 for a contribution received from the Minnesota Board of Firefighter Training and Education to pay for training for firefighters.
Body
WHEREAS, the Minnesota Board of Firefighter Training and Education (MBFTE) has awarded a contribution of $46,525.50 to the Saint Paul Fire Department to pay for training for firefighters; and
WHEREAS, the financing and spending plans have not been established for the contribution ; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for appropriation funds of $46,525.50 in excess of those estimated in the 2018 budget; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council accepts this contribution of $46,525.50 from the Minnesota Board of Firefighter Training and Education (MBFTE), thanks them for their generous support, and approves the changes to the 2018 budget.
