Title
Appeal of Michaelene Colestock to a Correction Notice - Complaint Inspection at 884 HYACINTH AVENUE EAST.
Date/Time of 1st LH: March 6, 2018 - 1:30 p.m.
Purpose of Appeal: This is a sober house that opened Feb. 1, 2018. We were under the impression that the currently active FCO was sufficient, but found out that a new fire inspection must be completed for "sober houses". Reasonable accommodations have been filed. However, the order from the fire inspector is that only 4 unrelated adults may live in the home until the Reasonable accommodations are approved. Currently 6 women (2 pregnant) and 2 children live in the home. They are homeless so if we ask them to leave there is no safe, sober place for them to go. We are asking that they continue to be allowed to reside in the home until the reasonable accommodations are approved.
Date of Order(s) Under Appeal: February 9, 2018
Inspector/Key Staff: George Neimeyer - Fire Inspector
