WHEREAS, the Entertainment B, Liquor On Sale-2AM Closing, Liquor On Sale-100 seats or less, Liquor On Sale-Sunday licenses and Shared Parking Agreement held by Mee Lee Moua d/a/b Malina’s Sports Bar and Grill (License ID #20010002326) for the premises located at 691 Dale Street North in Saint Paul were the subject of a Notice of Intent to Revoke Licenses sent February 16, 2018; and
WHEREAS, on November 1, 2017, the Department of Safety and Inspections (DSI) received notification from Ramsey County that the building had been secured and the licensee had been locked out since August 3, 2017 for non-payment of back taxes; and
WHEREAS, on December 21, 2017, DSI received a notice that the licensee’s liquor liability insurance had been cancelled effective November 25, 2017; and
WHEREAS, as of February 13, 2018, the Fire Certificate of Occupancy for the licensed premises had been revoked and the building was classified as a Category 2 Vacant
Building; and
WHEREAS, the licensing office recommended revocation of the Entertainment B, Liquor On Sale-2AM Closing, Liquor On Sale-100 seats or less, Liquor On Sale-Sunday licenses and Shared Parking Agreement; and
WHEREAS, the licensee responded to the Notice of Intent to Revoke Licenses with a request for a public hearing which was scheduled on April 18, 2018; so therefore be it
RESOLVED, the Entertainment B, Liquor On Sale-2AM Closing, Liquor On Sale-100 seats or less, Liquor On Sale-Sunday licenses and Shared Parking Agreement held by Mee Lee Moua d/a/b Malina’s Sports Bar and Grill (License ID #20010002326) for the premises located at 691 Dale Street North in Saint Paul are hereby revoked.
