Approving adverse action against the Auto Repair Garage, Second Hand Dealer, Second Hand Dealer-Motor Vehicle, Tow Truck/Wrecker (Operator), and Tow Truck/Wrecker (Vehicle) licenses held by Budget Towing Inc. of St. Paul at 560 Randolph Avenue. (Public hearing held April 18)

 

Body

WHEREAS, the Auto Repair Garage, Second Hand Dealer, Second Hand Dealer-Motor Vehicle, Tow Truck/Wrecker (Operator) and Tow Truck/Wrecker (Vehicle) licenses held by Budget Towing Inc. of St. Paul d/b/a Budget Towing Inc. of St Paul (License ID #20120005762) for the premises located at 560 Randolph Avenue in Saint Paul were the subject of a Notice of Violation sent February 27, 2018; and

 

WHEREAS, an inspector from the Department of Safety and Inspections (DSI) came to the licensed premises on October 30, 2017 for a follow-up inspection and documented with photographs three (3) license condition violations; and

 

WHEREAS, per Saint Paul Legislative Code § 310.05 (m) (1), the licensing office recommended a $500.00 matrix penalty; and

 

WHEREAS, the licensee responded to the Notice of Violation with a request for a public hearing which was scheduled on April 18, 2018; so therefore be it

 

RESOLVED, Budget Towing Inc. of St. Paul d/b/a Budget Towing Inc. of St Paul is hereby ordered to pay a $500.00 matrix penalty for three (3) license condition violations documented by a DSI inspector during a follow-up inspection on October 30, 2017.

 

Payment of such penalty shall be made within thirty (30) days of the date of the adoption of this resolution.
