Pertaining to the retirement of Saint Paul Regional Water Services Assistant General Manager, James Graupmann.
Body
WHEREAS, Jim Graupmann has faithfully served the Board of Water Commissioners for nearly 38 years; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Graupmann has provided strong leadership at SPRWS and has acted as staff representative at many meetings of the Board of Water Commissioners; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Graupmann has distinguished himself in his service in the responsible positions of Civil Engineer, Distribution Division Manager, Engineering Division Manager, Production Division Manager and Assistant General Manager; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Graupmann has been instrumental in providing leadership in nearly every aspect of SPRWS and providing the implementation and operation of our emergency management program; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Graupmann has represented and has spoken on behalf of the Board to many outside organizations including various State of Minnesota Departments and Federal Organizations; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Graupmann has decided to retire from the Saint Paul Regional Water Services effective March 31, 2018; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Board of Water Commissioners commends Jim Graupmann for his outstanding and dedicated service; and, be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, That the members of the Board of Water Commissioners extend to Jim Graupmann and his family their best wishes.
