WHEREAS, the City Council adopted RLH RR 17-28 on October 18, 2017 which granted an extension for 45-days to abate the nuisance conditions at 2096 Reaney Avenue; and

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer reviewed this case on December 26, 2017 and February 13, 2018 to determine if the owner and/or responsible party abated the nuisance conditions and found these conditions were not abated; and

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that an additional grant of time be made and the first $5,000 performance deposit be continued if a second $5,000 performance deposit by February 28th, 2018 - noting that DSI will not sue a permit until the new deposit is received; now, therefore, be it

 

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council adopts the finding of the legislative hearing officer that the nuisance condition is abated and the matter resolved if the condition is met grants 180 days for the nuisance/dangerous building to be abated, as the second performance deposit was posted on February 23, 2018.
