In appreciation of the students and staff of McNally Smith College of Music and their contributions to the vibrancy and culture of Saint Paul.
Body
Whereas McNally Smith College of Music taught undergraduates and graduates in all areas of the music industry for 32 years; and
Whereas McNally Smith students performed and produced shows at music venues across the Twin Cities; and
Whereas McNally Smith students helped support downtown businesses and worked and volunteered at organizations throughout the city; and
Whereas McNally Smith students provided a creative, young energy to the community; and
Whereas McNally Smith students and staff helped develop a vibrant downtown Saint Paul arts scene; and
Therefore be it resolved that the City of Saint Paul thanks the students and staff of McNally Smith for their many contributions to building a lively, creative and vibrant downtown Saint Paul.
