Authorizing the City to enter into the Delegated Contract Process (DCP) Agency Agreement with the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT).
Body
WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul receives federal aid participation to finance elilgible transportation related projects; and
WHEREAS; the City desires that the Minnesota Department of Transportation act as the City's agent in accepting Federal Aid on the City's behalf for the construction, improvement or enhancement of the transportation financed either whole or in part by federal funds; and
WHEREAS the previous Delegated Contract Process (DCP) Agency Agreement No. 99922, adopted in April of 2012 (Council File 12-708) will be superseded by this Agreement Number 1030098; now
THERFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that pursuant to Minnesota Stat. Sec. 161.36 the Commissioner of Transportation be appointed as the Agent of the City of Saint Paul to accept as its agent, federal aid funds which may be made available for eligible transportation related projects; and
THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Saint Paul enter into MnDOT Agreement 1030098 with the State of Minnesota Department of Transportation and that the Mayor and proper City officials are authorized to execute the Agreement, which contains indemnification provisions, and any amendments to the agreement.
