Body

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Jay Hill to a Vacant Building Registration Notice at 538 WHEELOCK PARKWAY WEST, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council 1) waive the vacant building fee for 45 days and grant until December 18, 2017 to get Fire Certificate of Occupancy reinstated; 2) require that the property shall enter the Vacant Building program as a Category 2 and a code compliance inspection will be required if the Fire C of O is not reinstated by December 18, 2017; and 3) grant an extension July 1, 2018 for Items 1, 3, 4, & 6 in the October 16, 2017 orders if the Fire C of O is reinstated by December 18, 2017; Now, Therefore, Be It

 

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
