Appeal of Keith Kaestner to a Vacant Building Registration Fee at 1630 UNIVERSITY AVENUE WEST.

Purpose of Appeal:  We have a letter of intent to sell the building to a developer to develop the parcel.  Projected closing is spring of 2018.

Date of Order(s) Under Appeal:  October 12, 2017

Inspector/Key Staff:  Mike Kalis

Legislative Hearing Staff Comments:  Application for Appeal included a vacant building notice dated 9/12/17.  Appellant was told it is too late to appeal that document.  Staff waited until the warning letter had been filed.  -rrn  Note, revoked as unoccpied April 2016.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Keith Kaestner to a Vacant Building Registration Fee at 1630 UNIVERSITY AVENUE WEST, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council deny the appeal; Now, Therefore, Be It

 

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
