Approving a Land Surveyor’s Certificate of Correction of Plat of the Midway Shopping Center Plat.

WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes 505.174 provides for a procedure to correct an error in a land plat; and
WHEREAS, discrepancies between the plat of Midway Shopping Center, the underlying deed, and the adjoining condemnation from the Minnesota Department of Transportation were identified during the preparation of the final plat for MLS Soccer Redevelopment, Zoning File #17-084212; and
WHEREAS, the Ramsey County Recorder’s Office was informed of the discrepancies and subsequently recommended a correction of plat be submitted to eliminate the discrepancies; and
WHEREAS, a Land Surveyor’s Certificate of Correction of Plat was prepared by a licensed land surveyor in the State of Minnesota and submitted to the City Council for approval on November 15, 2017 according to Minnesota Statutes 505.174 and 505.175; and
WHEREAS, the Land Surveyor’s Certificate of Correction of Plat is attached by reference to this resolution,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Land Surveyor’s Certificate of Correction of Plat of the Midway Shopping Center Plat, Zoning File #17-203899, is hereby approved.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk shall mail a copy of this resolution to the Zoning Administrator and the Planning Administrator.
