Title
Approving the polling locations for the 2018 elections and modifying the boundaries of Ward 1, Precincts 15 and 17; and the boundaries of Ward 3, Precincts 10 and 11 effective January 1, 2018.
Body
WHEREAS, the elections staff completed their annual inspection of polling places and have the following recommendations for the designation of polling places in preparation for the 2018 elections, and
WHEREAS, the elections staff also recommend changing some precinct boundaries, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, Pursuant to Minnesota Statute, Section 204B.16, the Council of the City of Saint Paul hereby approves the attached list of polling precinct locations; and
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED, Pursuant to Minnesota Statute, Section 204B.14, the Council of the City of Saint Paul hereby approves the following polling precinct boundary changes for the August 14, 2018 State Primary Election, and November 6, 2018 State General Election:
Combine Ward 1 Precinct 15 and Ward 1 Precinct 17, resulting in a single precinct to be named Ward 1 Precinct 15.
Transfer that part of Ward 3 Precinct 10 bounded by Davern Street, St Paul Avenue and West Seventh Street to Ward 3 Precinct 11.
