Legislative Hearing Staff Comments: There is a photo of condemnation placard on the building and no documentation in the letter as to why that is the case, or even that there is a condemnation. The photos from March 29 show significant exterior dilapidation, but if there are condemnation level concerns, there should probably be a better breakdown in the write-up as to what and why. Also, is condemnation the correct tool versus revocation or citation, let's discuss. -MM

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Greg Ryan to a Re-Inspection Fire Certificate of Occupancy With Deficiencies at 505 AVON STREET NORTH, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant to June 1, 2018 to remove or replace the garage; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
