WHEREAS, the Board of Ramsey County Commissioners has referred a repurchase application for property at 42-44 COOK AVENUE WEST to the City of Saint Paul for a recommendation;
WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul has reviewed police, building, and property maintenance code violations within the past five years; and
WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul has determined the property at 42-44 COOK AVENUE WEST has presented as a moderate municipal problem; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED the City of Saint Paul has recommends allowing for repurchase of this tax forfeited four-unit property at 42-44 COOK AVENUE WEST if the owner comes forward with a plan and financing to repair both the occupied, rental Class C side of the building and the Category 2 Registered Vacant Building side of the building; and further
RESOLVED, that the City Clerk is requested to forward a certified copy of this Council resolution to the Ramsey County Tax Forfeited Land Office, 90 Plato Boulevard West for final processing.
