Title

Ratifying the assessments for Towing of Abandoned Vehicle services during January to December 2016. (File No. J1701V, Assessment No. 178000) (Public hearing continued from September 20)

Body

WHEREAS, the Saint Paul City Council in Council File RES 17-912 accepted the Report of Completion for Towing of Abandoned Vehicle(s) from Private Properties during the time period of January to December 2016; and

WHEREAS, the City Council’s Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the assessment roll, considered appeals of affected property owners and developed recommendations for City Council with respect to those assessments; and

WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on September 20, 2017 to consider ratification of the assessment roll; and

WHEREAS, the City Council considered and found satisfactory the assessment of benefits, costs and expenses for the services provided; now, therefore be it

RESOLVED, that, pursuant to Chapter 14 of the City Charter and Chapter 60 of the Administrative Code, the assessments are hereby in all respects ratified with the exception of the following amendments which will be considered separately:

RLH TA 17-326:  2409 Edgcumbe Road;

RLH TA 17-337:  787 Howell Street;

RLH TA 17-338:  428 Jessamine Avenue East

RLH TA 17-334:  674 Jessamine Avenue East;

RLH TA 17-345:  722 Magnolia Avenue East;

RLH TA 17-336:  759 Maryland Avenue East;

RLH TA 17-340:  1092 Magnolia Avenue East;

RLH TA 17-335:  976 Reaney Avenue;

RLH TA 17-329:  1636 Reaney Avenue;

RLH TA 17-344:  662 Third Street East;

RLH TA 17-339:  515 York Avenue;

RLH TA 17-347:  851 York Avenue; and be it further

RESOLVED, that the assessments be payable in one (1) installment, unless specified by the Legislative Hearing Officer’s recommended amendments.
