Title

Appeal of Alejandro De La Mora to a Vacant Building Registration Fee at 1733 STANFORD AVENUE. (Public hearing continued from September 20)

Date/Time of 1st LH:  Tuesday, August 15, 2017, 2:30 p.m.

Purpose of Appeal:  I bought my house from HUD and I closed on the house on 8/7/17.  HUD never let me know about the vacant building fees for the years of 2016-2017; however, I agreed to pay for them at closing.  The day after, I went to the City to apply for a building permit and they notified me that before I apply for the permit, I have to pay $2,127 for the 2017-2018 vacant building application fee...  (See Application for Appeal and attachment for the rest of the purpose.)

Date of Order(s) Under Appeal:  August 7, 2017
