Title
Amending the financing and spending plans in the Fire Department in the amount of $5,000 for a donation received from the Bruning Foundation.
Body
WHEREAS, the Bruning Foundation has donated $5,000 to the Fire Department in honor of the Foundation owners' nephew Nick Bilderback to be used to purchase equipment for Station 4; and
WHEREAS, the Fire Department would like to accept this donation from the Bruning Foundation; and
WHEREAS, the spending and financing plans have not been established for the donation received; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor pursuant to 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for appropriation funds of $5,000 in excess of those estimated in the 2017 budget; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor recommends the following additional changes be made to the 2017 budget:

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council accepts this donation of $5,000 to be used to purchase equipment for Station 4, thanks the Bruning Foundation for its generous gift, and approves the changes to the 2017 budget.
