Accepting the gift of the cost of airfare, lodging, ground transportation, and some meal expenses from Living Cities, for Kathy Lantry, Director of Public Works; Kristin Guild, Deputy Director of PED; Michael Solomon, Treasurer of OFS; Wes Saunders-Pearce, Water Resources Coordinator of DSI; and Catherine Penkert, Senior Innovation Consultant of OFS, to attend the Living Cities City Accelerator in San Francisco, CA on September 25 and 26, 2017.

WHEREAS, the Living Cities City Accelerator will convene in San Francisco, CA on September 25 and 26, 2017; and
WHEREAS, Living Cities has offered to pay some costs associated with city staff attending the conference; and
WHEREAS, the city believes that having city staff attend the Living Cities City Accelerator will be beneficial by equipping Saint Paul with the ideas and tools to advance innovative ideas and practices; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the City Council hereby accepts the gift for the airfare, lodging, ground transportation from the airport, and some meal expenses for the Living Cities City Accelerator and thanks Living Cities for its generous gift.
