Authorizing the Police Department to enter into a Cooperative Agreement with the City of Minneapolis for the 2018 National Football League (NFL) Super Bowl security.

WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul, Police Department (SPPD) wishes to enter into a Cooperative Agreement with the City of Minneapolis; and
WHEREAS, this agreement allows and outlines the conditions of SPPD providing licensed peace officers to the City of Minneapolis regarding public safety and security for the 2018 National Football League Super Bowl; and
WHEREAS, the City of Minneapolis is the host city for this event and those related which will take place from Friday, January 26, 2018 through Monday, February 5, 2018; and
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that council authorizes the City of Saint Paul to enter into the Cooperative Agreement and Assistant Chief Kathleen Wuorinen to implement
