Making finding on the appealed substantial abatement ordered for 1062 FRONT AVENUE in Council Files RLH RR 16-51 and RLH RR 17-6.

WHEREAS, the City Council adopted RLH RR 16-51 on January 18, 2017 which granted 15 days to raze and remove the structure within 15 days. Subsequently, the Council granted a stay of enforcement of this order on March 1, 2017 for 120 days to July 3, 2017 to correct all of the deficiencies listed in the Order to Abate Nuisance Building and the Code Compliance Report at 1062 Front Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer reviewed this case on July 11, 2017 to determine if the owner and/or responsible party abated the nuisance conditions and found these conditions were not completely abated; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative hearing further reviewed the case on July 19, 2017 and found all relevant building and trade permits have been finalized and the Code Compliance Certificate is forthcoming and therefore determined the nuisance condition is abated; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council adopts the finding of the legislative hearing officer that the nuisance condition is not abated and therefore makes its findings forthcoming pending additional activity to close permits prior to its public hearing. abated and the matter is resolved.
