Pertaining to an amendment to a professional services agreement with Short Elliot Hendrickson Inc. to provide additional condition assessment of large-diameter cast iron water mains.
Body
WHEREAS, the Board of Water Commissioners of the City of Saint Paul approved the execution of a professional services agreement with Short Elliott Hendrickson Inc. dated March 6, 2017 to provide professional services required to assess the condition of 11,363 feet of large-diameter cast iron water mains at a cost not to exceed $67,800 (the Agreement); and
WHEREAS, Short Elliott Hendrickson Inc. has faithfully complied with all requirements and conditions of the Agreement; and
WHEREAS, at this time, the Board desires to obtain an assessment of an additional 1,772 feet of water mains not included in the Agreement, and Short Elliott Hendrickson Inc. is willing to provide such assessments; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Board of Water Commissioners of the City of Saint Paul hereby requests that City of Saint Paul Contracts and Analysis draft an amendment to agreement with Short Elliott Hendrickson Inc. for additional assessment of large-diameter cast iron water mains, as described in its proposal of May 30, 2017, at a cost not to exceed $11,600, which will result in a total not to exceed cost of $79,400; and, be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the proper officers of the Board are hereby authorized and directed to execute said amendment to agreement following approval by the assistant city attorney.
