Authorizing the Police Department to enter into a License Agreement, which includes an indemnification clause, with the State of Minnesota.
Body
WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul, Police Department wishes to enter into a Parking License agreement which includes an indemnification clause with the State of Minnesota, Department of Administration on behalf of the Department of Humans Services; and
WHEREAS, this license agreement will allow Police Department parking in twenty (20) non-designated parking spaces located on the parcel of land known as Tenth and Pine Street parking lot subject to the conditions on the agreement; and
WHEREAS, the term of this agreement is from July 1, 2017 through December 31, 2017; and
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the council approves entering into and authorizes Assistant Chief Kathleen A. Wuorinen to implement the license with the State of Minnesota which includes an indemnification clause as set forth in the attached agreement.
