Appeal of Yan Yun Zhou to a Vacant Building Registration Notice at 1188 EARL STREET.

Purpose of Appeal: The address is currently vacant because of City vacate order and Fire C of O deficiency. We are currently working on bringing the property up to code and would like to not pay the vacant building registration fee.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Yan Yun Zhou to a Vacant Building Registration Notice at 1188 EARL STREET, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council waive the vacant building fee for 90 days and change the vacant building status to Category 1, noting owners will need to get Fire Certificate of Occupancy reinstated before the propoerty can be occupied; Now, Therefore, Be It

 

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
