Authorizing the Police Department to enter into an Annual Plan Agreement, which includes an indemnification clause, with the State of Minnesota, Department of Health.
Body
WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul, Police Department requests authorization to enter into an Annual Plan Agreement with the State of Minnesota, Department of Health which includes an indemnification clause;
and
WHEREAS, the agreement will require a Saint Paul assigned officer to travel with staff from the MDH Safe Harbor program for a two day conference in Seattle, Washington with expenses reimbursed; and
WHEREAS, the conference will further Minnesota’s and the City of Saint Paul’s anti-trafficking efforts by contractor sharing knowledge; and
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council hereby authorizes Assistant Chief Kathleen Wuorinen and the proper city officials to execute and implement the agreement with the State of Minnesota which includes an indemnification clause in a form and content substantially as set for in the attached.
