Authorizing the Fire Department to enter into a joint powers agreement with the City of Plymouth for the use of the Saint Paul Fire Department training facilities.
Body
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statute Section 471.59 authorizes muicipalities to enter into agreements with the consent of their governing bodies to exercise joint powers; and
WHEREAS, they City of Plymouth wishes to use the Saint Paul Fire Department training facilities for training of their firefighters, and are willing to pay for such use; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the proper City officials are hereby authorized and directed to execute the attached joint powers agreement to extend the use of the Saint Paul Fire Department training facilities to the City of Plymouth.
