WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Cheryl Mike, Love in Action, LLC, to a Correction Notice - Re-Inspection Complaint at 605 COMO AVENUE, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation is to grant the appeal on the requirement that a full fire alarm system with manual pull stations is being installed, provided the following actions are undertaken to modify the existing smoke alarm system, thus creating an equivalency under the Minnesota State Fire Code: 1) add an additional hard wired interconnected smoke alarm in back area of the infant room by the rear exit; 2) add an additional hard wired interconnected smoke alarm in basement mechanical room; 3) add an additional hard wired interconnected smoke alarm in the first floor mechanical room; and 4) interconnect the smoke alarms by the office area and preschool rooms with the other smoke alarms in the building; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
