Accepting the gift of the cost of airfare, lodging, ground transportation, and some meal expenses from Living Cities, for Michael Solomon, Treasurer; Kathy Lantry, Director of Public Works; Wes Saunders-Pearce, Water Resources Coordinator; and Kristen Guild, Deputy Director of PED, to attend the Living Cities City Accelerator in Washington DC on April 27 and 28, 2017.

WHEREAS, the Living Cities City Accelerator will convene in Washington DC on April 27 and 28, 2017; and
WHEREAS, Living Cities has offered to pay some costs associated with city staff attending the conference; and
WHEREAS, the city believes that having city staff attend the Living Cities City Accelerator will be beneficial by equipping Saint Paul with the ideas and tools to advance innovative ideas and practices; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the City Council hereby accepts the gift for the airfare, lodging, ground transportation from the airport, and some meal expenses for the Living Cities City Accelerator and thanks Living Cities for its generous gift.
