Title

Amending the financing and spending plans in the Fire Department in the amount of $2,500 for the contribution received from the US Consumer Product Safety Commission.

 

Body

WHEREAS, the Fire Department applied for and received $2,500 from the US Consumer Product Safety Commission to purchase supplies for the kitchen fire demonstration trailer; and

 

WHEREAS, the financing and spending plans have not been established for the money received; and

 

WHEREAS, the Mayor pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for appropriation funds of $2,500 in excess of those estimated in the 2017 budget; and

 

WHEREAS, the Mayor recommends the following additional changes be made to the 2017 budget:

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council accepts this contribution and hereby approves the changes to the 2017 budget referenced in this resolution.
