CN Sent.  Maintenance - Exterior (Recheck) DSI Code Enforcement Reinspection 11/09/2016: *Recheck - No change to the garage - photos taken for $120 EC Code N.  Maintenance - Exterior (Recheck) 11/16/2016: *Recheck - PO called to explain that the garage is going to be demolished and replaced. PO says previous inspector gave her an extension on the garage, but there is nothing in the property file indicating that this ever happened, therefore the $120 EC issued on 11-9-16 stands. Extension to demolish the garage was given to 8-1-17. Maintenance - Exterior (Extension) Next Schedule Date: 08/01/17

WHEREAS, the Office of Financial Services Real Estate Section has attached to this Council File both a report of completion outlining the costs and fees associated with Excessive Use of Inspection/Abatement services billed during October 24 to November 18, 2016. (File No. J1706E, Assessment No. 178305) and the assessment roll including all properties for which these assessments are proposed for Council ratification; and

 

WHEREAS, the City Council’s Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed an appeal of this assessment and developed a recommendation for the City Council with respect to this assessment; and

 

WHEREAS, a public hearing having been conducted for the above improvement, and said assessment having been further considered by the Council and having been considered financially satisfactory; Now, Therefore, Be It

 

RESOLVED, that pursuant to Chapter 14 of the Saint Paul City Charter, said assessment is hereby deleted.
