Amending the Financing and Spending Plans in the Library Agency Special Projects
Body
WHEREAS, the Saint Paul Public Library Agency received monies in 2016 from MELSA Phase Funds and the Friends of the Library, Perrie Jones donations, and
WHEREAS, the Saint Paul Public Library Agency had some of these funds remaining at year end 2016 and now needs these funds to pay for an updated server or off-site server for the website and online content management system and additional spending for outreach efforts using donations from the Friends of the Library, Perrie Jones, and
WHEREAS, the financing and spending plans for these monies has not been established, and
WHEREAS, the Mayor pursuant to Section 10.7.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for appropriations funds of $111,427 in excess of those estimated in the 2017 budget and recommends the changes to the 2017 budget described in the attached fiscal analysis;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Library Board approves the changes to the 2017 Adopted Budget, and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that said budget, as heretofore adopted by the Library Board is hereby amended as indicated in the attached fiscal analysis form.
