Purpose of Appeal: Item 3: The north sleeping room has been approved for 30+ years from City of St. Paul and numerous inspections by St. Paul PHA and other agencies. The porch is normally empty, but had roofing contractor tools & materials in it, which have since been removed. Requesting continued use of this space.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Greg Adelmann to a Re-Inspection Fire Certificate of Occupancy with Deficiencies at 908 LAFOND AVENUE, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council deny the appeal, noting the front room may be used for sleeping if owner removes the windows and door on the enclosed porch; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
