Authorizing the Police Department to accept the donation of a horse trailer from Mr. Gerald Roche.
Body
WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul, Police Department has received a donation of a 2011 Keifer Built GP62-A horse trailer from Mr. Michael Gerald Roche, Delano, Minnesota; and
WHEREAS, this trailer will be used in the department’s Mounted Unit, and
WHEREAS, the trailer has an appraised value of $8,000; and
WHEREAS, the public purpose of this donation is to support the transportation needs of the department’s mounted patrol; and
BE IT RESOLVED, that the council accepts this donation, and extends its sincere thanks to Mr. Michael Gerald Roche, Delano, Minnesota.
