Amending the 2016 financing and spending budgets in the Department of Public Works General Fund Parking Meters Maintenance accounting unit.
Body
WHEREAS, the parking meter system was expanded in 2016 with the addition of new parking meter pay stations and spaces, and
WHEREAS, there was an increase in parking meter rates, expanded hours of enforcement and the addition of event rates, and
WHEREAS, these changes have increased revenues along with merchant charges and processing costs as a result of increased use of credit cards, and
WHEREAS, the Mayor, pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for appropriation total revenues in excess of those estimated in the budget, funds of $109,060 in the Public Works General Fund; so
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Saint Paul, upon recommendation of the Mayor that $109,060 is available for appropriation in the Public Works General Fund, as heretofore adopted and amended by this Council, be hereby further amended in the particulars as specified in the attached financial analysis.
