Approving funding for the Office of Human Resources to provide food and/or beverages for Emerging Leaders Academy, Supervisory Academy and other training offerings.
Body
WHEREAS, the Human Resources department offers Emerging Leaders Academy, an annual employee leadership development program, Supervisor Academy, Advanced Manager Academy and other training offerings.
WHEREAS, providing food and beverages during the training sessions enables sessions to take place efficiently and without disrupting work; and
WHEREAS, the funds for training are paid to Human Resources per applicant out of each departments’ budget; and
WHEREAS, these trainings will occur periodically.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Office of Human Resources is authorized to spend an amount not to exceed $15 per day per person for food and beverages for employees attending trainings offered by the Office of Human Resources.
