Purpose of Appeal: I am appealing the order to remove the "Large Downed Tree in Front Yard" "from yard areas." 1. This was not the tree, just a small portion of it. Most was removed when the tree was cut down. 2. The trunk was saved for use as a bench for sitting on. The tenants in the property enjoyed sitting on it.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Steve Coleman to Summary and Vehicle Abatement Orders at 842 JACKSON STREET, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant;
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant an extension to July 1, 2017 for compliance of the tree; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
