Approving and authorizing execution of Site Lease Agreement between the Board of Water Commissioners and T-Mobile Central LLC to provide for continued wireless operations at the Board’s McKnight Road Standpipe site located at 393 North McKnight Road in Saint Paul.

WHEREAS, the Board of Water Commissioners approved a water tower site lease agreement dated September 25, 1996 whereby the Board leased space to APT Minneapolis, Inc., predecessor in interest to T-Mobile Central LLC, for the operation of wireless communication equipment at the Board’s McKnight Road Standpipe site located at 393 North McKnight Road in the city of Saint Paul; and
WHEREAS, said site lease agreement will expire on December 31, 2016 and T-Mobile Central LLC desires to continue its wireless operations at the site; and
WHEREAS, the Board adopted Resolution 16-2019 which approved a Site Lease Agreement to provide for such continuation of operations, which includes a 5-year term beginning January 1, 2017 that automatically renews for three additional 5-year terms, a starting annual rent of $46,650 and a 5% annual rent escalator, and which also requested that the Honorable Council of the City of Saint Paul approve said Site Lease Agreement; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Site Lease Agreement between the Board of Water Commissioners of the City of Saint Paul and T-Mobile Central LLC to provide for continuation of wireless operations at the Board’s McKnight Road Standpipe site located at 393 North McKnight Road in the city of Saint Paul is hereby approved and that the proper officers are hereby authorized and directed to execute said Agreement on behalf of the City.
