WHEREAS, the Second Hand Dealer - Motor Vehicle license held by Best Buy Auto Sales, LLC d/b/a Best Buy Auto Sales (License ID# 20100004369) for the premises located at 1414 Arcade Street in Saint Paul was the subject of a Notice of Violation dated October 10, 2016, stating that during an inspection of the licensed premises on July 29, 2016, a DSI Inspector documented violations to license condition #10 & #14; and
WHEREAS, a DSI Inspector returned for a re-inspection on October 5, 2016 and again found violations to license condition #10 & #14; and
WHEREAS, per Saint Paul Legislative Codes § 310.05 (m) (1), the licensing office recommended a $500.00 matrix penalty for repeated license condition violations; and
WHEREAS, the licensee did not respond to the Notice of Violation to pay the $500.00 matrix penalty or request a hearing; now therefore, be it
RESOLVED, Best Buy Auto Sales, LLC d/b/a Best Buy Auto Sales is hereby ordered to pay a $500.00 matrix penalty for repeated violations to license conditions #10 & #14 documented by a DSI Inspector during inspections on July 29, 2016 and October 5, 2016.
Payment of such penalty shall be made within thirty (30) days of the date of the adoption of this resolution.
