Honoring Rosemary Compos Crowe and Joe Crowe for the work they have done and continue to do on behalf of Mexican American veterans and the Mexican American AmVets Post #5.

Whereas, the Mexican American AmVets Post #5 has worked to promote awareness of the sacrifices and contributions made by Mexican Americans to the U.S. military dating to the Civil War; and,
Whereas, Rosemary Compos Crowe and Joe Crowe have been volunteer stalwarts for the Mexican American AmVets Post # 5 for twenty-five years; and,
Whereas, Rosemary Compos Crowe and Joe Crowe have provided logistical leadership and support for all Post #5 events and activities; and,
Whereas, Rosemary Compos Crowe and Joe Crowe both served and were honorably discharged from the United States Marine Corp and Army; and,
Whereas, Rosemary Compos Crowe and Joe Crowe have given years of volunteer service and leadership to Our Lady of Guadalupe Parrish; and,
Whereas, Rosemary Compos Crowe and Joe Crowe both exemplify the true spirit of volunteerism; now,
Therefore be it resolved, that the Saint Paul City Council does hereby honor Rosemary Compos Crowe and Joe Crowe for their service and their deep commitment to Mexican American veterans, their community, and to the City of Saint Paul.
