Purpose of Appeal: The structure is not a "nuisance." No neighbors have complained nor any tenants. The wood is on shelves - off the ground neatly stacked so the structure is not a rodent harborage!

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Douglas Coppess to a Fire Certificate of Occupancy Approval with Corrections at 951-953 HAGUE AVENUE, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant an extension to August 19, 2016 to remove all the wood from the exterior storage structure and if this condition is met, grant until December 1, 2016 for owner to 1) apply for, and close/final, a building permit allowing for alternative use of the "structure" which meets Zoning setback requirement(s); or 2) the structure must be removed; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
