Approving adverse action against the Wine On Sale and Malt On Sale (Strong) licenses held by Ortega Enterprises, LLC, d/b/a Senor Sol Mexican Grille at 990 Payne Avenue.

WHEREAS, the Wine On Sale and Malt On Sale (Strong) licenses held by Ortega Enterprises, LLC d/b/a Senor Sol Mexican Grille (License ID #20140000989) for the premises located at 990 Payne Avenue were the subject of a Notice of Intent to Suspend Licenses dated July 11, 2016, stating the licensee failed to submit required information to renew the licenses; and
WHEREAS, per Saint Paul Legislative Code §310.05 (m) (2), the licensing office also recommended a $500.00 matrix penalty for failure to submit required information to renew the licenses; and
WHEREAS, the licensee did not respond to the Notice of Intent to Suspend Licenses to submit the required information, request a hearing or notify DSI they no longer wish to do business in Saint Paul; and
WHEREAS, the Notice of Intent to Suspend Licenses stated that if the licensee failed to submit the required information, request a hearing or notify DSI they no longer wish to do business in Saint Paul by July 21, 2016, that the matter would be placed on the consent agenda to impose the recommended penalty; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, the Wine On Sale and Malt On Sale (Strong) licenses held by Ortega Enterprises, LLC d/b/a Senor Sol Mexican Grille are hereby suspended and the license is ordered to pay a $500.00 matrix for failure to submit required information to renew the licenses.
FINALLY RESOLVED, the licenses will remain suspended until all required information is submitted to the Department of Safety and Inspections.
