WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Vatou Her to a Re-Inspection Fire Certificate of Occupancy With Deficiencies at 991 BEECH STREET, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council 1) deny the appeal; and 2) grant an extension until August 12, 2016 to address the items on the list; the decking issue may require a permit to be pulled; and 3) grant the appeal related to the requirement that all the smoke detectors be hard wired and interconnected - provided there continue to be hard-wired smoke detectors in the hallways immediately adjacent to the sleeping rooms and smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, as required by state and local codes; Now, Therefore, Be It

 

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
