Creating a commercial development district at North Garden Theater (Formerly the Garden Theater) located at 929 Seventh Street West pursuant to Section 17.07.1 of the City Charter and Section 409.20 of the Legislative Code.

THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN:
SECTION 1
The North Garden Theater Commercial Development District, as shown in Exhibit 1, which is attached to and incorporated by reference in this ordinance, is hereby created as a commercial development district pursuant to Section 17.07.1 of the Saint Paul City Charter and Section 409.20 of the Saint Paul Legislative Code. This district and its legal description shall appear in the Appendix to Chapter 409 of the Saint Paul Legislative Code.
SECTION 2
The North Garden Theater Commercial Development District shall be limited to no more than one (1) total liquor license. The On-Sale Liquor License issued within the commercial development district must be conditioned in such a manner as to ensure that liquor service is provided solely to attendees of ticketed or invite-only private events not otherwise open to the general public.
SECTION 3
This ordinance shall be in force and take effect thirty (30) days following its passage, approval and publication.
