THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN:

 

                                                                                                                                                                                                                  SECTION 1

 

The Can Can Wonderland Commercial Development District, as shown in Exhibit 1, which is attached to and incorporated by reference in this ordinance, is hereby created as a commercial development district pursuant to Section 17.07.1 of the Saint Paul City Charter and Section 409.20 of the Saint Paul Legislative Code.  This district and its legal description shall appear in the Appendix to Chapter 409 of the Saint Paul Legislative Code.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                  SECTION 2

 

No more than one (1) on-sale license may be issued pursuant to the creation of the Can Can Wonderland Commercial Development District.  Notwithstanding this restriction, there shall be no limitation on the number of on-sale liquor licenses that may be issued within the Can Can Wonderland Commercial Development District to restaurants, or other establishments that would be otherwise eligible for a license without the creation of a commercial development district.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                  SECTION 3

 

This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force thirty (30) days following its passage, approval and publication.
