Amending the financing and spending plans in the Capital Budget for the Department of Public Works in the amount of $10,000, and authorizing the appropriate personnel to enter into Mn/DOT Agreement No. 1003241 for the I-94 St. Anthony Avenue Community Landscape Partnership Plan.
Body
WHEREAS, Mn/DOT Project S.P. 6282-969D (T.H. 94=104) provides for landscaping on MnDOT Right of Way on the north side of Interstate 94 along the south side of St. Anthony Avenue between Beacon Avenue and Fry Street, and
WHEREAS, MnDOT has been working closely with the Union Park District Council to have landscaping elements provided for aesthetic purposes adjacent to the fence, and
WHEREAS, Council Resolution 16-397 authorizing the City to act as a sponsoring unit for the project identified as “I-94 St. Anthony Avenue Community Landscape Partnership Plan” on state trunk highway I-94 to be conducted during the period April 1, 2016 through April 1, 2017 was passed on March 9, 2016, and
WHEREAS, the Mayor pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul does certify that there are available additional funds of $10,000 in the Capital Improvement Budgets, and
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
That the City of Saint Paul enter into Mn/DOT Agreement No. 1003241 with the State of Minnesota, Department of Transportation for the following purposes:
To Provide for payment by the State to the City of the State’s share of the costs of the acquisition of said landscaping materials to be placed upon, along and adjacent to Trunk Highway No. 94 along the south side of St. Anthony Avenue between Beacon Avenue and Fry Street within the corporate City limits under State Project No. 6282-969D (T.H. 94=104).
Be it further resolved that the Mayor and the proper City officials are authorized to execute the Agreement and any attachments to the Agreement.
Be it further resolved, by the Council of the City of Saint Paul, upon recommendation of the Mayor and advice of the Long Range Capital Improvement Budget Committee, that $10,000 is available for appropriation in the capital Improvement Budgets, as heretofore adopted and amended by this Council, be hereby further amended in the Improvement Budgets in the following particulars:
