Comments:  12/8/15 - Property was on the behavior complaint list on a report of suspicious activity involving heavy foot traffic in and out of the address. After further investigation, two individuals were arrested and booked at the Ramsey County LEC for possession of a controlled substance. 1/13/16 - complaint of no heat, no electricity.  On 1/15/16, heat and lights were back on.  Tenants have been evicted; property has been removed from the behavior complaint list.

History of Orders on Property:  Previous complaints of garbage/rubbish on property - SA’s issued on 4/3/15, 1/26/15, 1/5/15, 11/24/14, 5/1/14 - two went to work order.

 

Body

WHEREAS, the Office of Financial Services Real Estate Section has attached to this Council File both a report of completion outlining the costs and fees associated with Property Clean Up services during February 1 to 25, 2016. (File No. J1609A, Assessment No. 168525) and the assessment roll including all properties for which these assessments are proposed for Council ratification; and

 

WHEREAS, the City Council’s Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed an appeal of this assessment and developed a recommendation for the City Council with respect to this assessment; and

 

WHEREAS, a public hearing having been conducted for the above improvement, and said assessment having been further considered by the Council and having been considered financially satisfactory; Now, Therefore, Be It

 

RESOLVED, that pursuant to Chapter 14 of the Saint Paul City Charter, said assessment is hereby ratified and payable in one installment.
