Honoring Tin Cups Restaurant for their contributions to the North End, and congratulating them on their 5th anniversary under ownership of Gidget Bailey and her family.

Whereas the Saint Paul City Council seeks to foster community investment by celebrating those who make a real contribution to the vitality and strength of our neighborhoods; and

Whereas Tin Cup’s at 1220 Rice Street celebrated the 5th anniversary of their business under Gidget Bailey and family’s management on June 4th of this year; and

Whereas Tin Cup’s and owner Gidget Bailey and family have supported the community immensely over the last several years, supporting the Rice Street Festival, hosting dozens of community events and fundraisers in the North End, and being highly involved in the District 6 Planning Council; and

Whereas Tin Cups continually brings positive press and recognition to the North End by participating in Man VS Food, Burger Battle and Twin Cities Best Burger; and

Whereas Tin Cups pull tab charity has donated funds to local non-profits; and

Whereas Gidget Bailey has shown unwavering support and dedication for her community; now

Therefore be it resolved that the Saint Paul City Council honors and recognizes Tin Cup’s contributions to the North End and congratulates Tin Cup’s and Gidget Bailey on their 5th anniversary of operation.
