Amending the financing and spending plans in the Fire Department in the amount of $250 to accept the donation from the Saint Paul Midway Lions Club.
Body
WHEREAS, the Saint Paul Midway Lions Club has offered to donate $250 to the Fire Department for the Project Safe Haven program, and
WHEREAS, the Fire Department would like to accept this donation from the Saint Paul Midway Lions Club, and
WHEREAS, the public purpose of this donation is to continue to support the Project Safe Haven program, and
WHEREAS, the financing and spending plans have not been established for the donation, and
WHEREAS, the Mayor pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for appropriation funds of $250 in excess of those estimated in the 2016 budget, and
WHEREAS, the Mayor recommends the addition as specified in the Attachment - "Saint Paul Midway Lions Club Financial Analysis" be made to the 2016 budget;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council, on behalf of the residents of Saint Paul, accept this donation of $250 from the Saint Paul Midway Lions Club, extend their sincere appreciation to this organization, and approve the changes to the 2016 budget.
