WHEREAS, the Saint Paul City Council in Council File RES 16-237 accepted the Report of Completion for Vacant Building Registration Fees billed during the time period of May 18 to November 24, 2015; and
WHEREAS, the City Council’s Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the assessment roll, considered appeals of affected property owners and developed recommendations for City Council with respect to those assessments; and
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on May 4, 2016 to consider ratification of the assessment roll; and
WHEREAS, the City Council considered and found satisfactory the assessment of benefits, costs and expenses for the services provided; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that, pursuant to Chapter 14 of the City Charter, the assessments are hereby in all respects ratified with the exception of the following amendments which will be consideredly separately:
RLH TA 16-138: 860 Beech Street;
RLH TA 16-146: 25 Elizabeth Street East;
RLH TA 16-154: 992 Hatch Avenue;
RLH TA 16-152: 2164 Hawthorne Avenue East;
RLH TA 16-148: 544 Minnehaha Avenue West;
RLH TA 16-147: 1438 Pascal Street North;
RLH TA 16-160: 676 Rivoli Street;
RLH TA 16-145: 1092 Sims Avenue;
RLH TA 16-181: 1746 Sims Avenue;
RLH TA 16-143: 955 Wilson Avenue;
RLH TA 16-XXX: 1325 Arkwright Street - delete for separate consideration; to be referred back to Legislative Hearing on May 10; Public Hearing continued to June 1, 2016;
RLH TA 16-XXX: 497 Hopkins Street - delete for separate consideration; to be referred back to Legislative Hearing on May 17; Public Hearing continued to June 1, 2016; and be it further
RESOLVED, that the assessments be payable in one (1) installment, unless specified by the Legislative Hearing Officer’s recommended amendments.
