Amending Council File RLH SAO 16-9, adopted April 6, 2016, to grant Alex Zhuravel an additional extension for property at 476 CURTICE STREET EAST.

WHEREAS, on April 6, 2016, the City Council of the City of Saint Paul adopted Council File #RLH SAO 16-9, said Resolution being the memorialization of an appeal to a Summary Abatement Order for property at 476 Curtice Street East; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing recommended that the City Council deny the appeal and grant an extension until April 15, 2016 to backfill the excavation of the property by putting in soil, seeds and secure the area by fencing it and property must be maintained; and,
WHEREAS, the Saint Paul City Council considered the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter; and,
WHEREAS, an additional extension was given until April 26, 2016 by the Department of Safety & Inspections (DSI); and,
WHEREAS, the Appellant is requesting for more time beyond the additional extension given by DSI to come into compliance with the Summary Abatement Order; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer consulted with Councilmember Noecker and an additional extension has been granted for 30 days; Now Therefore, Be It,
RESOLVED, that an extension is hereby granted to May 26, 2016 on the condition that the property is maintained and a new construction permit is pulled and finaled or issued within the 30-day period.
