Approving a schedule of charges for street restoration work.

WHEREAS, Section 87.13 of the Saint Paul Legislative Code provides that effective March 1, 2016, charges for street restoration of water service connections (“Restoration Schedule Charges”) be approved by city council resolution based on the recommendation of the Board of Water Commissioners following a public hearing; and
WHEREAS, at its April 12, 2016 meeting, the Board provided said recommendation of Restoration Schedule Charges, as attached; and
WHEREAS, the Board did also request that the Saint Paul City Council approve the attached Restoration Schedule Charges following a public hearing; and
WHEREAS, the Council has considered the Board’s recommendation and testimony received at a public hearing, notice of which was published in a newspaper of general circulation not less than ten (10) days prior thereto; now therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that pursuant to Section 87.13 of the Saint Paul Legislative Code, the Saint Paul City Council hereby approves the attached Restoration Schedule Charges.
